ABOUT ME
I'm a game developer focused in programming and game design, currently working on a full version of Switchboard Operator, a puzzle game about managing an old-fashioned and extremely confusing telephone switchboard.
Videogames have been my passion and my safe haven for as long as I can remember. I've had fun and cried, I've learned valuable lessons and made wonderful friends thanks to them.
When I was younger, I dreamed with all the possibilities that those games could bring. Now, my goal is to join the industry and ignite that same passion and emotions in others by creating games that people will love and hold dear in their hearts.
MY PROJECTS
I am currently working on what will become the complete version of Switchboard Operator.
Now out of the game jam's restrictions, we are aiming to dig deeper into the game's design, add new features and improve existing ones.
With also a makeover to the music and art of the game, this aims to be my most professional and polished game so far.
- Coming Soon -
A puzzle game created by a group of 3 people for the SkillUp Summer-TIME JAM! 2024. In it, the player must take control of an old fashioned telephone switchboard and try to provide their best service to the callers.
The game is played in rounds. For each one, a new person will call demanding to be connected to a specific person's line present within the switchboard. With the information they give, the player must make use of the switchboard manual to determine the code that corresponds to said person and connected the caller to them in time.
Each game is randomized so anyone can play as much as they like without encountering the same puzzle twice.
While all 3 of us designed the game, I developed all of the game logic myself. My teammates took care of the art, music and sound of the project.
This game was developed in less than 3 weeks.
A 3D, First Person, Platformer game and my second fully fledged project. This time, for my team's Master's Degree Final Project.
The player embodies a space explorer in search of a fitting planet for its people to live. Equiped with an arm cannon that shoots an array of useful orbs, they will traverse alien worlds and overcome its obstacles in order to achieve their goal.
This game was completely developed by a team of 4 students in less than 3 months.
I programmed the character's basic movement and the functionality of all 3 orbs the player could use. Each of them also has an effect in the character's control and movement.
I also designed and developed the levels corresponding to the first world visited, along with all the interactable objects appearing in them.
On a more technical level, I programmed the game's menus and its save and checkpoint systems.
A 2D platformer game with powerful movement and a rather simple combat and magic system. Adri, the protagonist, is imagining a fantasy world where he is the hero in order to overcome the challenges of its bachelor's degree.
The goal is to make it to the end of each level, where the player will have to face a boss stage before they can continue. Each level has a unique theme and gimmick for the player to use and explore.
This was the first game I ever made, with the help of 2 of my classmates. We developed the game as part of our Bachelor's Degree Final Project.
The game took 4 moths to develop. The team focused in the programming, design and documentation part of the project while the assets such as art, music and sound effects where taken out of free assets from the internet.
I designed and created 3 out of the 9 levels of the game, including the tutorial. For each level, I programmed their unique gimmick, the enemy behaviour and the boss stage too.
I programmed all of the character's movement and movement tecniques.
I also developed the camera system that was used in every level of the game.
The main character's animations where handled by me in a script. It provided the team with more control and ease of use over them than the integrated tools of the engine for this project.
